Okay, so this is what I'm dealing with here: I've been reading two specific manga for a long time now and I've reached the point where I'm in the home stretch. In the first one, Dengeki Daisy, I've gotten to the last 20 chapters, which will only take around 3 hours to complete. In the second one, Seitokai Yakuindomo, I've reached the last 50 chapters, which, considering that seitokai is a 4-panel, that means there are only around 250 pages, or around 2 hours. Both of these time estimates are only valid if I read at a leisurely pace. I can easily knock out 30 chapters in 15 minutes, but then I wouldn't get to enjoy it as much. However, the main problem is that once I finish these 2 manga, I will have to spend hours searching and sampling new ones to replace them. In fact, I've already begun trying to find something that is equivalent to seitokai yakuindomo and the only thing that I can find even close to as funny (that I haven't already read of course) is Seitokai no Ichizon, which is funny, but it doesn't have the same charm as Seitokai yakuindomo. However, that's not the issue. The issue is that i'm coming to the end of 2 of my favorite series. These two manga have been with me since the beginning of last summer and now that school has started, I've been really into reading manga, so I'll be done in no time. I plan to start reading 2 new manga when I'm done with these two, but If you want to recommend something to me, I'll check out whatever you recommend. Leave me a comment, send me an email, or message me on tumblr.

Let's talk dirty! -Manga rant #2
Yo! Sorry that I haven't been posting. If you aren't aware of this fact, college just started and along with that, all of the crappy first-week homework. Since I haven't posted in a while, I thought that I would talk about one of my favorite genres of manga: Seinen. That being said, there are 2 major seinen manga that I read:
I said before that I would tell you about Koe de Oshigoto, so let's talk about that first.
Koe de Oshigoto is about a girl who becomes an Eroge seiyu. (I know you probably have no idea what that means, but don't google it yet.)
A seiyu is a voice actress, but an Eroge seiyu is a little bit different. If you didn't already know, Eroge is the shortening of Erotic Games. That's right, this girl, who is a first year in high school, is a voice actress for erotic games. I can't exactly spoil the plot too much but, I can tell you that her older sister was the one who made her do it. I have to warn you right now. This show is so inappropriate that it was taken off of the air after the second episode. But, if you wan't to read the manga, I suggest you watch the show first just to get your toes wet because the manga is definitely not your average comedy. Although it doesn't show any actual genitalia, it describes sexual acts in detail, not to mention the fact that the main character's vivid imagination leads her to imagining herself and other seiyu actually having sex just by listening. This is totally adult rated and I wouldn't ever recommend reading or watching this around any kids ever. I would put up some pages from the manga to demonstrate, but I think google would flag them as porn, so yeah...
Next up is Seitokai Yakuindomo (Student council staff memebers)
This manga also makes jokes about sex and adult topics, but unlike Koe de Oshigoto, they spin it in a childish manner. Aside from 5 or 6 specific running jokes, it's pretty much simple middle-high school comedy. People who get embarrassed easily probably won't like this as much, just because a lot of the sexual humor is pretty obvious (to high schoolers). Despite the fact that the overall feel of the manga is childish, it is still seinen, so I can't recommend it for anyone who isn't in high school. I can say that it's a funny read for anyone who understands the jokes, so check it out.
------------------------------
That's it for right now, but I might post later today (don't quote me on that). I'll be sitting at school for around 3 hours with nothing to do so I might throw up another manga or anime rant, i don't really know. Thanks for reading and as always, feel free to comment or send an email. Aside from that, feel free to message me on facebook: Kevin Gray. My page has a giant Attack on Titan cover, so you can't miss it. Again, thanks for reading and have an awesome day.

Mid-season Impression: Akame ga Kill
Let me start this off by apologizing for posting this later than I said I would. Since I go back to school next week, I've been hanging out with friends a lot and doing a lot of prep . Nonetheless, that's not that great of an excuse since all I that I usually do for these posts (except for reviews) is sit at my computer for about 10-15 minutes. With that out of the way, I'm going to talk about one of my favorite shows: Akame ga Kill.
-----------------------------------------------
Akame ga Kill is one of my favorite manga, and it just so happened that I discovered it the week before the show premiered. I didn't find out about the show until episode 3 was released, but due to how much I loved the manga, I watched the first three episodes as soon as I found out about them. Unlike many series, the animation for the manga is exactly the same as the animation in the show. Added to that, the story for the anime follows the manga exactly. These are two things that almost never happen. The action sequences are incredibly well done and the voice actors were definitely well chosen. So far, my only issue is the fact that they officially changed the names of most of the characters specifically when the anime was confirmed. And when I say they changed the names, I don't mean that they just changed spelling or pronunciation for the show, I mean that they actually changed the names in the manga as well.
This page to the left was an actual page that they put into the manga to let you know that they changed the names. In every chapter after this page was featured, they used the new names instead of the original ones, which completely threw me off in the next chapter, but I got over it pretty quickly though, because the story is so good that once you get used to seeing the characters, the names don't really matter.
As far as manga being adapted into anime is concerned, this is the most successful one that I've seen aside from Shingeki no Kyojin (although I like Akame ga Kill more).
------------------------------------------------
Thanks for reading and please keep on checking out my blog. If you haven't checked out my anime or manga list, please do check them out. If you'd like a quick summary of the work, just let me know. Leave a comment or send an e-mail to animeandgames4@gmail.com.

LIfe Update+Anime and Manga Update/Rant
It's been quite a while since I posted, so before I start this post, I'd like to apologize for and explain my negligence. There were several factors to me not posting, the biggest being that for the past two weeks, I've had the most impatient of all of my friends staying over at my house, so I really didn't have any time to sit down and write. Added to that, I finally finished my mage play-through on Dragon Age 2, and on top of that, I bought a copy of Final Fantasy XIII. So, as previously promised, my Dragon Age 2 review is finally finished. Also, some new anime reviews are coming up as well, so look out for those.
-----------------------------------------------------
Last time that I talked about anime, there were only a few anime and manga series that I was keeping up with, but now, I'm constantly on the lookout for updates on all of these anime and manga series (Manga series are labeled):
-Sword Art Online II
-Akame ga Kill! (Manga and Anime)
-RWBY
-Himegoto
-Tokyo Ghoul
-Shingeki no Kyojin (Manga)
-The Breaker: New Waves (Manga)
-Naruto Shippuden
-Dengeki Daisy (Manga)
-The Gamer (Manga)
-Say I love you (Manga)
--------------------------------
Aside from that, there are several shows that are either rumored to be getting or are definitely getting a second season:
-Black Bullet
-Log Horizon
-No Game No Life
-Shingeki no Kyojin
-Psycho-Pass
---------------------------------------------------
Now that that's out of the way, I want to introduce a new kind of post that I will be doing. I plan to do a mid-season impression series, since Akame Ga Kill, SAO2, Tokyo Ghoul, and Himegoto are all on episode six, I felt like it would be cool to make a few posts just about where I think the series is headed and what I think about certain characters. I also plan to do this for most of the anime that I watch and maybe even some manga series. I also plan to start talking about new chapters of manga that come out, so watch for both of those. As always, thanks for reading and if you have a friend who likes anime or gaming, show this to them and help me get some views on my blog. Thanks to the few people who were checking frequently over the time that I couldn't really post, and thank you for being patient. Hopefully, I'll be posting tomorrow, so look for my mid-season impression of Akame ga Kill.

Gaming Rant #1
I kinda hate how the first hour or two of a dating sim are the same no matter which character you pick. I finished Katawa Shoujo once, getting the neutral ending with Hanako, but I want to play again and get the good ending. However, I just don't have the motivation to do it because I have to sit through an hour and a half of character introduction and plotline setup in order to get back to chasing the elusive good ending. I really want to get the good ending, so I may just end up bearing with it so that I can get to the best part. Added to that, this is the second dating sim that I've ever played, so I'm not much of a judge as far as playing it, but I have watched people play a few on youtube, so I know what I'm talking about.
Aside from that, I've been playing lots of Titanfall, so I want to do a review on that game, although I might change my review format to accommodate more kinds of games. Whatever I decide to do, I'll let you know.
Thanks for reading and don't forget to show this to a friend so that I can get more readers. (Please, I'm begging you).

Anime for Begginers
I was talking to one of my friends the other day and she asked me what anime she should start with if she was just getting into it. So, I decided to make a post of shows that you should check out if are just getting into anime. I'm going to try and have at least 1 choice for each genre, but some numbers may have 2 or three choices. Keep in mind that you have to really open yourself up to really learn how anime works. Also, it may be hard to adjust to, but if you have the choice, pick sub over dub. Hearing it in the original language while seeing the subtitles not only lets you learn a bit of Japanese, but it's also a completely different experience, save for a select few shows.
#1- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
I've mentioned ghost in the shell recently, but it was one of the first anime that I ever got into watching. It's about a special division of the government called Public Security Section Nine. They hunt down terrorists and they specialize in everything from hacking to good old fashioned detective work. I would recommend this show if you like war movies or shooter games. I know that I mentioned some detective work, but that isn't the highlight of this show. If you're looking for detective work, check out the next entry.
#2- Heaven's Memo Pad/Psycho Pass
This show is about a NEET detective named Alice. (If you don't know, NEET stands for: Not in Education, Employment, or Training.) Despite the fancy title, Alice is only around 12 years old. She is however, a super-genius hacker and she uses that to coordinate with a group of other kids who solve crimes./ Psycho Pass is about a group of detectives that use a special system to determine who is likely to commit crimes. The main character joins a detective unit that uses investigators who work alongside people who are called latent criminals (People who's readings are too high to be mixed in with normal citizens, but not high enough to be considered dangerous.) to catch people who's readings make them dangerous or have actually committed crimes.
#3- Lucky Star/Nichijou/Acchi Kocchi
Since these are all slice-of-life style comedies, i'm not going to summarize them individually, since comedy is comedy any way around. I will say that Lucky Star's comedy is mostly stuff that you see in life, while both Nichijou and Acchi Kocchi have a little bit of an over-the-top kind of comedy style. That being said, I would recommend all three of them to anybody who just wants to enjoy a laugh.
#4- Black Lagoon/Burst Angel/Madlax
All three of these shows are about gunslingers, so I thought it would be fitting to put them all together in one category. Unlike Ghost in the Shell, these shows are more about small showdowns rather than large scale battles. Most of the fights in these three shows are 1 on 1 (At least my favorite ones are), so the fights have very different feel from ghost in the shell. Black Lagoon and Burst angel are a bit straight forward, but Madlax has a killer plot twist at the end, so you should check that out. The animation for Madlax is pretty old school, I believe it was made in the 90's, so it might be hard to adjust to it, but also, if it's one of the first shows that you watch, then you might be able to appreciate it.
#5- Log Horizon/ Sword Art Online
These shows are the first shows that I would recommend for the people who like to play RPG/Fantasy games. Both shows are about living inside of a game, however, SAO is a bit heavier and sadder story-wise, while Log Horizon has better character development. I must say though, if you are going to watch Sword Art Online, you have to commit because the second story arc is filled with plot holes that you have to watch the movie to understand, however, you wont understand the movie unless you watch the full first season beforehand. Added to that, you have to watch everything else in order to understand the second season at all. Log horizon is relatively new, so if you watch it now, you should be ready to watch the second season when it comes out sometime between September 2014 and January 2015.
-------------------------------
I have watched every episode of all of these shows and I give them all my seal of approval. (Some more than others) I hope that you find a few shows that you like and are able to find some more shows. If you do find a show you like, find the show on anime-planet.com and you'll be able to find suggestions for similar shows. If you want to watch any of the shows on this list, they should all be on animeseason.com. You have to sit through an ad first, but the websites streams very well, even on my crappy internet connection. Added to that, after the first ad, you can enjoy your show with no interruptions. Thanks for reading and check back soon for some more stuff.
